The Artist

Lu Ann Alexander

Welcome, I am an artist who thrives on creative experimentation, working across photography, digital art, and silver wire jewelry. Photography has always been a passion–I capture landscapes, clouds, people, and creating abstracts. Recently, I’ve loved transforming these photos into digital art.

Years ago, I also fell in love with silver wire work, dedicating time to classes and refining a simple style–pieces I wear myself. For 25 years, I have been a patio artist at Spanish Village in Balboa Park, where I love participating in the festivals–December Nights is always a highlight.

I earned a BA in Radio, TV, Film and spent 46 years in the broadcast industry. Alongside that, I earned a Photoshop certificate and continued learning with classes in Photoshop and Dreamweaver at Palomar College.
