About

The Artist

Karen Jones

I am a native Southern Californian and currently live in downtown San Diego. I work in a variety of mediums and currently focus on colored pencil drawings and art quilting. My work is a representation of the world I live in and my many travels. I see beauty and color everywhere and attempt to recreate it through my art.
Currently I am a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, visions Museum of Textile Art, Canyon Quilters of San Diego Guild, and Spanish Village Art Center. I reside in downtown San Diego and am a partner in Studio 8 at Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park San Diego, California..
